Duke of Edinburgh Expedition
Students set out on the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition
On Tuesday 12th July, 20 Year 11 students set out on the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition. They travelled to Kent where they independently pitched their tents, cooked a hot meal, walked for several hours in teams navigating and exploring before camping for the night. Students learnt how to be self-sufficient and challenged themselves to discover more about nature. They returned to college on Wednesday 13th July late in the afternoon, tired and sore, but having accomplished a great feat.
